Nicolò Sergio (born in 1988) is an italian singer and songwriter from Bologna. He has been writing songs since he was 14 years old. After finishing a recording project made of 4 tracks with the collaboration of Osvaldo di Dio (guitar player of Cristiano de Andrè and Franco Battiato), he worked with the arranger Giorgio Cavalli (guitar player of Vinicio Capossela) on the production of several songs until 2018. In 2019 Nicolò came into contact with Marco Natali's Madamadorè Record Label, with whom he recorded and released his first 9-track album, Polvere Magica (Magic Dust).
He has taken part in many important Songwriters Festivals at the Navile Theater (founded by Lucio Dalla and Nino Campisi in 1998) and the Bristol Theater in Bologna, all organized by Marcello Romeo and Nino Campisi. He was also given two awards for “quality of vocal interpretation” and “quality of emotional interpretation”. Finalist in various competitions, he won the Gli Artisti della Musica (Music Artists) contest.
His videoclip from the song Artisti di Strada (Street Artists), directed by Margherita Ferri, was hosted on the official website of the Pressing Line, the record company founded by Lucio Dalla. His songs were broadcast on regional TVs (Nuova Rete, Rete 8) on the occasion of his performance during the famous Hey Joe Festival directly from the stage of Piazza Maggiore in Bologna, and of his participation as a special guest in the TV program Lato A (Nuova Rete, DI TV ). He was also interviewed for the TV shows Music Generation (Rete 8), Quelli che il Sabato (Tele Studio Modena), Live Cub (DI TV), Una città per cantare (Nuova Rete) and, in terms of radio programs, he went on Radio Italia Anni 60, Radio Città Fujiko FM (New Sounds), Punto Radio, Radio Zurigo, RDA and 7va station.
